On the afternoon of March 27, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police held a groundbreaking ceremony for the barracks project of the Provincial Police. General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security attended and delivered a directing speech.

Also attending were representatives of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and provincial departments, agencies, and branches.
According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, the barracks project is built at 1A Le Loi Avenue, Hac Thanh ward, with an area of 32.8 ha. The project not only meets immediate urgent requirements but also has long-term strategic significance, contributing to strengthening leadership, command, and centralized operation capacity; ensuring smooth communication; improving working, training and living conditions for the police force.
The project is designed according to a modern architectural plan, inheriting local cultural and historical values, referring to typical symbols such as Ho Citadel, Hac Thanh, Ma River, Chu River. The project creates architectural highlights at the Hong Hac roundabout intersection (Nguyen Hoang Avenue - Hung Vuong Avenue - Le Loi Avenue), in accordance with the general development plan of the province.
The project includes a system of headquarters for professional departments, command and operation areas; logistics, technical, training and auxiliary facilities. The central building complex includes 1 basement, 12 above-ground floors; a large hall with a capacity of nearly 1,000 seats.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the project has profound political significance, showing the determination to effectively implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo on building a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern People's Police force.
The investment in building barracks is of great significance both in the short and long term, ensuring command, work, and living conditions for officers and soldiers; contributing to building a modern Thanh Hoa Provincial Police force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
The Minister of Public Security requested the investor, consulting unit, supervision, and construction unit to properly fulfill their responsibilities, ensure progress, quality, technique, and thrift; strive to complete and put the project into use on the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 2027).
