Ha Tinh voters proposed that the Ministry of Construction consider and include the project to invest in and upgrade the Ho Chi Minh road section passing through Ha Tinh province, especially the section passing through Huong Khe commune, in the medium-term public investment list for the 2026-2030 period.
After studying, the Ministry of Construction would like to answer as follows:
According to the Road Network Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050 approved, the Ho Chi Minh road through Ha Tinh province coincides with the North-South expressway in the East.
Up to now, this North-South expressway has been invested and put into operation, with a scale of 4 lanes. Therefore, in the near future, the Ministry of Construction will hand over the old Ho Chi Minh road sections through Ha Tinh province to the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee for management and investment according to regulations.
Therefore, it is proposed that the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee proactively study and assess the necessity of investing in this old Ho Chi Minh road (especially the section through Huong Khe commune), and mobilize capital to implement it as proposed by voters.
