Overviewing the operating results of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Ca Mau province, Mr. Lu Van Hung emphasized: The 15th National Assembly is a special term when the country has to face many important issues, many new and unprecedentedly complex contents - including the global health crisis, supply chain disruption, unprecedented socio-economic fluctuations... The National Assembly has had to make decisions in emergencies, with thorough and accurate requirements, but must be flexible and quickly respond to urgent requirements from the lives of hundreds of millions of people.
The National Assembly Delegation of Ca Mau province has made efforts, united, responsible, and participated fully and with quality in legislative activities, supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country. Delegates in the Delegation have proactively conveyed the voices and legitimate recommendations of voters in their province to the National Assembly, the Government and central ministries and branches; participated in supervising issues of concern to voters; and at the same time actively coordinated and connected to remove difficulties and create more conditions for Ca Mau province to develop. In particular, in the context of implementing the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, the Delegation quickly stabilized its organization, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted operations, and maintaining its role as a representative of the People.
In addition, the Ca Mau Provincial People's Council always pays attention to innovating the content and methods of operation, and the quality of operation is increasingly improved. The Standing Committee pays attention to and closely coordinates with sectors and levels in operation; regulates and coordinates well the operation of departments and offices. Organizes timely meetings to give opinions and handle issues under its authority; organizes meetings of the Provincial People's Council to decide on important issues, especially in adjusting and supplementing regulations, mechanisms, and policies for socio-economic development before and after arranging administrative units. Monitoring activities are focused and key, strengthening surveys at the grassroots level. The operation of the Standing Committee, departments, groups of delegates and delegates of the Provincial People's Council ensures compliance with the provisions of law, closely following the program, work plan and political requirements and tasks of the province. Material and financial conditions to serve the activities of the Provincial People's Council are ensured regularly and promptly.
Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai highly appreciated the Provincial National Assembly Delegation for actively and responsibly participating in legislative work; implementing supervision with a constructive spirit, closely following issues that voters are interested in; promptly conveying opinions and recommendations of localities to the National Assembly, the Government and central ministries and branches, making important contributions to the implementation of key projects and works, creating a foundation for long-term development.
The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that generations of National Assembly deputies of Ca Mau province through various periods have made many important contributions, leaving a clear mark in parliamentary activities as well as in the process of building and developing the province. The Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee respectfully acknowledges and highly appreciates the intelligence, enthusiasm, bravery and sense of responsibility of National Assembly deputies through various terms.
On this occasion, on behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Committee for Petitions and Supervision Duong Thanh Binh presented the Medal "For the Cause of the National Assembly of Vietnam" to individuals who contributed to the development process of the National Assembly of Vietnam.
The Organizing Committee also awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate "Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam"; collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in directing, coordinating, and performing tasks of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ca Mau province, term 2021 - 2026 and collectives and individuals with achievements contributing to the activities of the 10th People's Council of Ca Mau province, term 2021 - 2026.
