On August 29, the Department of Construction of Ca Mau province said that the unit had surveyed the entire headquarters of the old Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee in Bac Lieu ward to develop a proposal to build the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee History Museum according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.
Previously, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Finance, the People's Committee of Bac Lieu ward and related units to conduct a survey and propose a specific plan on renovating and repairing the old Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee headquarters to build the Provincial Party Committee History Museum and some other functions.
The renovation and conversion of the functions of the old Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee headquarters has been initially supported by cadres and people to effectively exploit the headquarters of agencies no longer in use due to the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units and implementation of two-level local governance. In particular, it is necessary to form the first specialized museum on the history of the Provincial Party Committee to preserve and promote the historical values and heroic revolutionary traditions in education.
