On the morning of June 4, a serious traffic accident occurred on the road around Bung Xang Lake, in Area 3, An Khanh Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City.
According to the security camera of a nearby household, at around 6:33 a.m. the same day, two people were riding a motorbike together from alley 51 to Nguyen Van Cu Street. When reaching the curved road around Bung Xang Lake, the car suddenly crashed straight into the sidewalk and crashed into a wall of a house.
The camera showed that the car was traveling at a very high speed before the collision.
Observed through the camera at the time of the accident, the road surface was still wet due to the impact of last night's rain. The accident left one person dead on the spot, one person seriously injured.
According to initial information, both of them are foreign students, currently studying at a university in Can Tho City.
Currently, the authorities of Can Tho City are urgently investigating to clarify the cause of the incident.
