In January 2026, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to synchronously implement measures to prevent negativity, strengthen handling and effectively prevent harassment and causing trouble for people and businesses in the process of resolving work in the province.
According to the plan, Khanh Hoa province identifies 5 groups of key tasks and solutions and requests departments, agencies, branches, agencies, public service units, state-owned enterprises under the province and commune-level People's Committees to develop and issue specific plans for their units before February 1, 2026.
One of the consistent contents of the plan is to strengthen the responsibility of the head in leading and directing the work of preventing and combating corruption (PCTN), wastefulness, and negativity.
At the same time, build a team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also requested to innovate management work associated with promoting digital transformation and administrative reform; strengthen publicity and transparency in the operation of agencies and units.
Promote propaganda, dissemination, and education of laws on PCTN, wastefulness, and negativity.
Along with that, Khanh Hoa province focuses on promoting the role and responsibility of society in PCTN work; strengthening inspection and examination of public duties; building a mechanism for monitoring and early detection of violations.
Promptly prevent, rectify and strictly handle acts of corruption, wastefulness, and negativity in functional forces and law enforcement personnel.
The supervisory role of elected agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, press agencies and the People continues to be emphasized.
Agencies and units must proactively identify the risk of corruption according to each job position; strengthen inspection, supervision and thoroughly handle acts of harassment and negativity.
Notably, Khanh Hoa province requests to review and simplify administrative procedures, to prevent the situation of requiring people and businesses to supplement dossiers and documents more than once after receiving them.
At the same time, improve the quality of dialogue between the government and people and businesses.
Inspection and examination of public service regimes will be strengthened; periodic job position changes; selection and arrangement of cadres with sufficient qualities, ethics, and professional capacity to sensitive positions, prone to negative and corruption.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa (resident of Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province) said that what people want most is transparent procedures, timely resolution and no extra-regulation costs.
If the dossier is missing, it must be clearly guided from the beginning, not to let people travel many times.
I strongly support the policy of not requiring dossier supplementation more than once after receiving, because this is a problem that people encounter a lot" - Mr. Hoa said.
