On April 8, Mr. Le Duc Thinh - Chairman of Hai Lang District People's Committee confirmed that he had signed a decision to discipline 2 leaders of Hai Truong Commune People's Committee for serious violations related to land management.
Accordingly, Mr. Truong Minh Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Hai Truong Commune People's Committee - was dismissed from the Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune for the term 2021 - 2025; Mr. Truong Quang Minh - Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee - was disciplined by a warning.
Previously, the Inspection Committee of Hai Lang District Party Committee determined that Mr. Dong was irresponsible in his management work, lax inspection, leading to many violations in confirming the origin and time of land use; lax management of public land, leading to compensation and support for site clearance for the wrong subjects and in violation of regulations, causing serious consequences.
Based on the proposal of the District Inspection Committee, the Standing Committee of Hai Lang District Party Committee decided to dismiss Mr. Truong Minh Dong from the position of Member of the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025.
For Mr. Truong Quang Minh, although he knew that confirming the origin and time of land use was not in accordance with regulations, he still received authorization to chair meetings to encourage people to use compensation and support in violation of regulations. During his duties, Mr. Minh's behavior of mobilizing and negotiating was not in accordance with the law, causing serious consequences.
The Inspection Committee of Hai Lang District Party Committee also disciplined Mr. Truong Quang Minh with a warning.
