The Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City has just signed a Decision on the establishment of the Can Tho City Land Fund Development Center.
Accordingly, the Can Tho City Land Fund Development Center was established on the basis of merging the Soc Trang Provincial Land Fund Development Center under the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Can Tho City, merging the Hau Giang Provincial Land Fund Development Center (including reorganizing 8 District-level Land Fund Development Centers under Hau Giang Province (old) into Land Fund Development Branches) and the Can Tho City Land Fund Development Center (old).
Can Tho City Land Fund Development Center is a public service unit that self-insures regular expenditures (Group 2) under the People's Committee of Can Tho City; has legal status, its own seal and is allowed to open an account according to the law.
Can Tho City Land Fund Development Center has 6 departments and 10 regional land fund development branches. The branch has its own seal and account but does not have legal status, the accounting depends on the Center.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Director of the Center to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and relevant agencies to advise and develop regulations on functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure in accordance with regulations. At the same time, implement the contents related to personnel, job position, assets, finance, records and register a new stamp model according to the provisions of Decree No. 99/2016/ND-CP.
The Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Finance are assigned to coordinate the implementation of related contents on organizing the apparatus, staffing and receiving assets, finance, and land in accordance with legal regulations.
