Attending and presenting the decision were Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and Vice Chairman Phan Thai Binh. Mr. Vo Nguyen Chuong, former Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the center for a period of 5 years.
Along with Director Vo Nguyen Chuong, the new leadership of the center also includes two Deputy Directors, Mr. Huynh Tan Quang (former Director of the Land Fund Development Center under the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang) and Mr. Nguyen Minh Nam (former Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Phu Ward). The appointment decisions take effect from August 1, 2025.
The establishment of the Da Nang Land Fund Development Center aims to professionalize the management and effective exploitation of land resources.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized that the establishment of a center is an urgent requirement. He suggested that the new leadership must urgently stabilize the organization and get to work immediately to avoid creating gaps in activities.
The key and urgent task assigned by the City Chairman is to focus on reviewing and developing specific plans to completely handle the long-standing "bottlenecks" in compensation, support and resettlement. This is a key step to speed up the progress of projects in the area. In addition, the center must proactively establish projects to create clean land funds to organize land use rights auctions, contributing to increasing important revenue for the budget, while strictly and effectively managing public land funds.
Chairman Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested appointed officials to uphold their sense of responsibility and public ethics, constantly learning to build a professional and dedicated team. He also pledged that the city's leaders will always create favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and policies for the center to operate effectively, especially in the implementation of key projects.
