Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued Official Letter No. 226/UBND-HCC on piloting public services for unemployment insurance procedures.
Implementing Official Dispatch No. 5274/BNV-CVL dated July 18, 2025 of the Minister of Home Affairs on piloting public services for unemployment insurance procedures, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City assigned the Director of the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with the Heads of relevant agencies and units to implement the reception and settlement of 6 unemployment insurance administrative procedures on the National Public Service Portal according to the procedures and forms of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology to review and have solutions to upgrade the Document Management and Operation System of the Department of Home Affairs to ensure the ability to integrate with the National Public Service Portal in accordance with technical standards issued by the National Public Service Portal. Coordinate with the City People's Committee Office to delegate authority to the administrative account of the Department of Home Affairs and the Employment Service Center to resolve the above administrative procedures.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City also assigned the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with the Heads of relevant agencies and units, the Department of Science and Technology, and the Office of the City People's Committee to review targets related to the implementation of online public services, and advise the Chairman of the City People's Committee to assign online public service targets for the above procedures to avoid limiting the rights of workers.
