From afar, the water area in front of the boat dock in the Thien Cung - Dau Go climate area, Ha Long Bay is dense with tourist boats. The staff on the cruise ship reminded tourists that it will take a long time to arrive so that tourists can prepare mentally.
When they arrived, the whole water area was muddy because there were too many ships jostling and plowing duck feet into shallow water to bring tourists to the wharf and then return to let other ships in.
The water is low, many ships have to speed up to move forward and backwards, causing black smoke from the train's chimneys to continuously issued, along with the smell of grease, making the air here very uncomfortable.
It took a long time, after a short journey but it collided with one ship to another, the new ship brought visitors to the Thien Cung - Dau Go cave area to visit the cave from here.

However, towing a ship to allow another ship to enter and move to the prescribed pick-up location is also an extremely difficult journey, because the ships continuously dock, while the water area is not wide enough and too far, especially when the water recedes.
The water area in front of the boat dock in Sung So Cave has been in the same situation for many years.
Except for when the tide rises, the rest are always in a state of mud, the smoke of ships is over the whole area, because ships plow down the mud to get in and out of the port.

According to the Ha Long Tourist Boat Association, there are many reasons for the above situation, mainly: rural areas due to not dredging for many years; ships are getting bigger and bigger; and the problem of regulating ships entering and leaving.
For many years, the Ha Long Tourist Boat Association has repeatedly given opinions and proposed dredging water areas in front of the wharves leading to famous caves in Ha Long Bay, along with adjusting the tour time frame to avoid local overload. However, everything is still intact.
"Ha Long Bay's revenue each year is up to thousands of billions of VND, but I don't understand why not invest in dredging canals to make it convenient for ships to bring tourists in and out of the port?" - a cruise ship owner was upset.
Tourists are also upset about taking too much time for ships to dock to visit the caves, especially on hot weather days.
It is known that the water areas in front of the wharf to dock ships in some caves in Ha Long Bay have not been dredged and maintained since 2018, causing the low tide level to not ensure the depth allowed for tourist ships to enter and exit, causing both congestion and potential risks to traffic safety.
According to the Department of Construction of Quang Ninh province, dredging water areas at tourist attractions on Ha Long Bay belongs to the Ha Long Bay Management Board.
Meanwhile, we have contacted the Ha Long Bay Management Board many times but have not received any response.
