Total passengers arriving at Da Nang International Airport in 2024 are estimated to reach more than 13 million.

On the afternoon of November 22, Da Nang International Airport (DIA) held a press conference on production and business results in 2024 and the implementation of a number of key projects, quality and services in 2025.

According to this unit, the total number of passengers arriving at Da Nang International Airport in 2024 is estimated at 13.4 million. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 6.2 million and domestic visitors at 7.2 million. Total revenue is VND 1,615 billion, reaching 104%.

In 2024, this unit has invested in upgrading the internal port traffic system, infrastructure, equipment, and services with the goal of striving to upgrade the domestic passenger terminal (T1), Da Nang International Airport to 4-star standards by 2025. Da Nang International Airport has invested in upgrading 19 project items and works with a total value of more than 200 billion VND.

"In 2024, the International Passenger Terminal (T2) of this unit will reach 5-star standards. Also this year, Da Nang International Airport was listed for the first time in the Top 100 best airports in the world and the Top 10 most improved airports in the world. The Route Asia Conference also voted for the Top 5 best airports with a capacity of serving from 5 million to 20 million passengers/year," said Mr. Phan Kieu Hung - Director of Da Nang International Airport.

In 2025, Da Nang International Airport will invest in building a cargo terminal, building infrastructure on the remaining land north of the airport and investing in expanding passenger terminal T1 according to the approved plan to 10 million passengers/year.
