Some subjects impersonate officials and employees of the social insurance system, calling and requesting people to bring their ID cards and paper health insurance cards to the Public Administrative Service Center at the commune level to integrate electronic health insurance card information into the electronic identification application (VNeID); provide ID card numbers and send ID cards to synchronize data.
In particular, some subjects also create personal Facebook pages impersonating social insurance agency officials to defraud in order to appropriate people's property.
Faced with the above situation, Phu Tho Provincial Social Insurance issued a special warning - the highest level, and affirmed:
Phu Tho Provincial Social Insurance and grassroots Social Insurance currently do not have a policy requiring people to provide personal information via phone or text message or other forms and do not collect any fees in resolving social insurance and health insurance benefits.
