On February 4, the Inspection Committee (UBKT) of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee organized a conference to draw lots to select subjects to verify assets and income in 2026.
Mr. Do Van Thang - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee - chaired the conference. Attending were representatives of leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Inspectorate.
The draw is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Party and State on asset and income control, ensuring publicity, transparency, and objectivity.
At the conference, Mr. Do Van Thang emphasized that the verification of assets and income is not only aimed at checking the completeness and truthfulness of the declaration, but the focus is on clarifying the origin of assets and additional income, thereby enhancing the accountability of cadres and party members, contributing to strengthening discipline, order and preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
At the conference, delegates were informed of the process and methods of randomly selecting the subjects for verification.
As a result, out of a total of 44 officials and civil servants subject to asset declaration included in the draw list, 26 cases were selected to conduct asset and income verification in 2026. Among them, 3 cases are members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, provincial leaders; 3 people at Hoang Dinh Giong Political School; 3 officials at the Provincial Statistics Office and 17 people working at the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
The draw conference was organized in the correct order, ensuring publicity and transparency. After the conference, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee assigned relevant units to coordinate in implementing the verification according to regulations.
