On April 7, according to the reporter's source, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province issued Decision No. 1000/QD-UBND on the dissolution of the Provincial Steering Committees.
The Steering Committees that were officially dissolved include the Steering Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in Cao Bang province; the Steering Committee for International Integration in Cao Bang province; and the Overseas Non-Governmental Work Committee in Cao Bang province.
The Decision clearly states that the dissolution of the Steering Committees aims to implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus in a streamlined, effective and efficient manner, in accordance with the direction of the Central Government and practical requirements of the locality. Relevant agencies and units are responsible for receiving, processing, handing over records, documents and tasks according to regulations.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office to preside over and coordinate with the Director of the Department of Home Affairs; the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; Heads of relevant agencies and units to organize the implementation of the dissolution in accordance with legal regulations and ensure that professional tasks are not interrupted.
The dissolution of these three Steering Committees is a concrete step for Cao Bang province in the process of continuing to streamline units, improve management and operation efficiency, and at the same time strengthen the clear assignment of responsibilities to specialized agencies, instead of establishing interdisciplinary Steering Committees as before.
