On July 1, the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies and units informed that they had just issued Decision No. 66-QD/dyU on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the province.
On the same day, the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee also issued Decision No. 2611/QD/TU stipulating the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the provincial and commune levels.
Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee is under the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Agencies, with a total of 172 Party members. This is a merger of the Party cells: Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Labor Federation, Provincial Youth Union, Veterans Association, Red Cross Society, Cooperative Union, Dong Truc, Union of Science and Technology Associations, Association of the Blind and Provincial Literature and Arts Association.
The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has the function of advising and assisting the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations in the province; at the same time, it is a professional and technical unit in front work and solidarity.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee currently consists of 9 comrades: Chairman, Permanent Vice Chairman, 4 Vice Chairmen concurrently leading socio-political organizations (Union, Farmers, Women, Youth Union, Veterans) and 2 full-time Vice Chairmen. In the immediate future, the number of full-time deputy heads will remain the same after the arrangement and consolidation; after 5 years, it will be adjusted according to regulations.
Regarding the organization of the apparatus, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the provincial level established 10 advisory committees and units including: Office; Organization - Inspection Committee; Committee for Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism; working committees according to target groups (Union, Farmers, Youth and Children, Women, Veterans); Propaganda - Mass Mobilization Committee; Social Work Committee. The Youth Activity Center is a affiliated public service unit.
