Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the list of communes belonging to group 1, group 2 and group 3 to implement the National Target Program on building new rural areas in the 2026-2030 period.
According to the decision, the whole province has 53 communes classified as implementing new rural construction and all belong to group 3.
It is known that after the merger, Cao Bang has a total of 53 communes and 3 wards in the central area of the province (wards: Thuc Phan, Nung Tri Cao, Tan Giang).
All the remaining communes are communes of region III belonging to ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
The list of communes includes: Nguyen Hue, Trung Khanh, Lung Nam, Tra Linh, Bao Lam, Quang Lam, Minh Khai, Thanh Long, Dam Thuy, Thanh Cong, Ha Lang, Kim Dong, Doc Lap, Phan Thanh, Phuc Hoa, Quang Long, Ha Quang, Tong Cot, Co Ba, Nam Quang, Hanh Phuc, Vinh Quy, Nguyen Binh, Tinh Tuc, Khanh Xuan, Coc Pang, Xuan Truong, Thong Nong, Be Van Dan, Dinh Phong, Doai Duong, Bach Dang, Ly Quoc, Ca Thanh, Quang Han, Huy Giap, Dong Khe, Tam Kim, Ly Bon, Yen Tho, Quang Trung, Son Lo, Quang Uyen, Can Yen, Bao Lac, Minh Tam, Hung Dao, Canh Tan, Duc Long, Nam Tuan, Thach An, Truong Ha and Hoa An.
Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee is assigning the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize implementation.
At the same time, review and adjust the list when necessary and guide the criteria for application to each group of communes.
Commune People's Committees shall base on the approved classification to develop plans, roadmaps and solutions to implement the National Target Program on building new rural areas for the period 2026-2030 in accordance with local real conditions. The decision takes effect immediately in May 2026.
