Over the years, Carlsberg Vietnam has made continuous efforts, bringing clean water to thousands of households in the Central provinces.

The program brings practical clean water solutions, helping to improve the lives of people in 4 provinces including: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri. In 2024, these 4 important clean water projects were completed in these localities.

The program also affirms the mission of Carlsberg Vietnam and the Huda beer brand in improving community life, while creating a sustainable future for the people of the Central region.

According to Carlsberg Vietnam, for more than 3 decades, Huda has not only been a popular beer brand but has also become a symbol of solidarity and local pride. This is demonstrated through the program "About clean water for the loving Central region" which has entered its 6th year.

"Clean water is not only an essential need but also the foundation for a healthy life and a better future. Through this initiative, we are proud to realize the goal of beer production associated with social responsibility, bringing clean water to the people of the Central region and contributing to building a prosperous and developing community Mr. Andrew Khan, General Director of Carlsberg Vietnam, shared.

Bringing clean water to nearly 9,000 households

Previously, the program "About clean water for the loving Central region" was born from the understanding of the difficulties that local people are facing. The water shortage, especially in remote areas, has negatively affected health, economy and quality of life.

Recognizing these challenges, Carlsberg Vietnam has closely coordinated with local authorities to conduct a field survey to develop a suitable investment plan. The company has upgraded and repaired the water filtration system at local water supply stations, and installed a water pipeline system to each household.

With the completion of 4 new projects, the program has helped nearly 9,000 households in the Central region have stable access to clean water, bringing peace of mind to people, especially during the rainy and stormy season and prolonged drought.

Not only a corporate social responsibility initiative, the program "About clean water for the loving Central region" also demonstrates the strong connection between Carlsberg Vietnam and the people of the Central region.

"We are proud to have completed four new projects in 2024. This is a testament to Carlsberg Vietnam's long-standing commitment, and at the same time reflects the strong cooperation between us and local authorities. In the future, Carlsberg Vietnam will continue to promote sustainable development projects across the Central provinces Mr. Andrew Khan affirmed.
