On November 7, the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic Works of Vinh Phuc province informed that after nearly 2 years of construction, the project to build a railway overpass on Nguyen Tat Thanh street (Vinh Yen city) with a total investment of 487 billion VND is about to be completed.
“Currently, the project is in the final stages of completing the final items including: paving the sidewalk, planting trees, erecting electric poles, etc. The service road area at the project has also been re-routed so that the construction unit can complete the remaining items.
It is expected that by the end of November 2024, the Nguyen Tat Thanh railway overpass will be put into operation" - said the leader of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic Works of Vinh Phuc province.
It is known that the Nguyen Tat Thanh railway overpass project is being implemented at the intersection of Nguyen Tat Thanh street and the parallel road of Hanoi - Lao Cai railway in Dinh Trung ward and Tich Son ward, Vinh Yen city.
The project is 752m long, running along Nguyen Tat Thanh Street. The railway overpass is 368m long, using cable-stayed technology, stylized towers, a bridge deck width of 22.5m, meeting the needs of 4 lanes of motor vehicles...
The total investment for the project is more than 487 billion VND from the provincial budget in the medium-term investment plan for the period 2021-2025, with implementation period from 2021-2024.
