At about 4 pm on February 12, a fire occurred in an apartment on the 16th floor, building C of PH apartment building (Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province), causing thick black smoke to rise, covering the area.
According to initial records, smoke was emitted from an apartment on the 16th floor, then the fire flared up strongly.

From below the road looking up, a dense column of black smoke quickly rose high, causing concern for residents living in the building.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police urgently dispatched vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy fire fighting work.

Functional forces mobilized 1 ladder truck and many specialized fire trucks. Firefighters approached the building, using the wall fire hose system of the apartment building to control the fire.
By 5 pm, black smoke continued to billow densely from the fire area. Functional forces have blockaded some areas to deploy firefighting plans to limit damage.
The cause of the fire and specific damage are being clarified by functional agencies.
