At about 20:15 on June 11, a fire broke out at a grilled hotpot restaurant at 180 Phan Trong Tue Street (Thanh Tri, Hanoi).
Witness at the scene said that at that time, they discovered a fire breaking out in the kitchen area on the 2nd floor of the restaurant.
"When the incident was discovered, many people rushed to find a way to put out the fire, but the kitchen had a lot of flammable substances and grease, so the fire flared up fiercely," the witness said.
After receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Thanh Tri Area Group (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police) arrived at the scene to put out the fire.
After about 15 minutes, the fire was extinguished, there were no human casualties but the property on the 2nd floor was completely burned down.
At the scene, the glass cars on the 2nd floor were broken, the corrugated iron walls around were covered with smoke and part of the sunroof was damaged.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
