Initial information, in the early morning of July 22, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police received a report of a fire at a grocery store in Sub-zone 7, Cho Ra Commune, Thai Nguyen Province.
After receiving the news, the authorities arrived at the scene to organize fire fighting. At around 4am the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.
The fire killed Mr. Bui Trung Hung (born in 1962), Director of Ba Be Investment, Trade and Service Joint Stock Company. Mr. P.V.T (born in 1979) was injured. Regarding assets, the initial damage is estimated at over 2.5 billion VND.
It is known that the building where the fire occurred has 2 floors, the first floor is a grocery kiosk, the second floor is the office of Ba Be Investment, Trade and Service Joint Stock Company.
When the fire broke out, Mr. Hung was present at the scene with the forces participating in extinguishing the fire. While the authorities were on duty, Mr. Hung went by another way to the office and was unfortunately suffocated.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified.
