House fire in Hue, one death

    HUE - A house fire occurred in Phong Thai ward, killing one person, the cause is being investigated.

    On March 26, Mr. Le Viet Thanh - Chairman of Phong Thai Ward People's Committee (Hue City) said that functional agencies are clarifying the cause of the fire that occurred in the area.

    Previously, at about 4 pm on the same day, a fire occurred at a house in Bac Trieu Vinh residential group (Phong Thai ward).

    The victim is Mr. Van Huu Y. (born 1967, residing in Bac Trieu Vinh residential group). At the time of the fire, only Mr. Y. - who suffered a stroke - was lying in one place in the house.

    Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Hue City Police coordinated with local authorities to quickly arrive to put out the fire and deploy rescue.

    The cause of the fire is being investigated, initially determined to be an electrical short circuit.
