At around 10:00 p.m. on August 7, vehicles traveling on the elevated Ring Road 3 (Hanoi), from My Dinh towards Thang Long Bridge, were shocked to see a car suddenly caught fire in the middle of the night.
The fire flared up suspiciously, accompanied by a column of black smoke rising high, causing many passersby to panic, rush to slow down, and avoid it. Some people living near that area immediately called the authorities.
Upon receiving the report, the Traffic Police, Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police quickly arrived at the scene. Firefighting work was urgently deployed, the authorities also organized traffic flow and regulation to ensure safety for people and vehicles traveling through the area.
After a period of effort, the fire was controlled. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties, but the car was completely burned down.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
