Fire at a coffee shop in Da Nang, a column of smoke rises tens of meters high

Da Nang - The fire broke out fiercely from a wooden house on the 3rd floor of a coffee shop in the suburbs of Da Nang.

At around 12:00 on July 9, people discovered a fire accompanied by black smoke rising from the 3rd floor of Mien Thao Moc coffee shop, located in Nui Thanh commune, Da Nang city.

Mr. Hoang Chau Son - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nui Thanh commune - confirmed information about the fire.

Accordingly, the fire broke out fiercely in the wood house area on the 3rd floor of the restaurant. The black smoke column rose tens of meters high, which could be observed from afar, causing many people to panic.

Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities dispatched 3 specialized fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to the scene to urgently deploy fire fighting.

After nearly 1 hour of efforts to control the fire, it was completely extinguished, preventing it from spreading to neighboring areas.

Initially, the cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit.

The authorities are continuing to investigate, clarify the cause and count the damage.
