On December 25, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc inspected the site clearance, temporary residence, construction progress of a number of works and projects, construction order, environmental sanitation and service for people to celebrate Tet in the city.
Accordingly, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc and the delegation inspected 4 projects, including: Ring Road 1 (Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section); surveyed Chu Van An Park; National Highway 1A project - Ngoc Hoi area and Ring Road 2.5 at the Giai Phong intersection (Kim Dong underpass).
Speaking at the inspection, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc praised the localities, investors, and construction units for their efforts to overcome all difficulties to ensure the set progress schedule.
Emphasizing that traffic and park projects in the city contribute significantly to solving 5 bottlenecks of the capital, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested investors, construction contractors and localities to closely coordinate and focus on solving related tasks to ensure the construction progress of works and projects in accordance with the set plan.
Noting the issue of urban landscape needing to be designed comprehensively, synchronously and long-term and sustainably, the Secretary of the City Party Committee requested investors, construction units and localities to strictly implement the planning, especially synchronous technical infrastructure systems for drainage systems, lighting, trees, etc.
Regarding the issue of handling ultra-thin and ultra-distorted houses, relevant regulations have been issued, local authorities need to propagate and mobilize to thoroughly handle them in the view of ensuring the rights of the people.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc also directed local authorities to proactively grant licenses to build townhouses for people; at the same time, propagate and mobilize people to build and renovate townhouses to ensure aesthetics, synchronization and suitability for the surrounding landscape. The general spirit is that all roads when completed and put into use must be green, clean, beautiful, ensuring urban aesthetics.
Paying special attention to environmental protection in projects and works under construction, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested investors, construction units and construction localities to be as neat as possible; pay attention to transporting waste, construction materials and the construction process at the site to minimize dust generation.
For the Chu Van An Park project, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc directed relevant units to focus on immediately removing obstacles in site clearance, investment mechanisms, capital sources and post-investment management models to soon complete the project and put it into use to serve the people. In the immediate future, local authorities need to ensure environmental sanitation in areas and items that have been put into use to better serve the people.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee directed the Hanoi Department of Construction to promptly review and evaluate the entire park system in the capital to have a comprehensive management solution, ensuring long-term effectiveness. The requirement is to speed up the construction of parks, thereby contributing to improving the quality of life of the people of the capital.
"Leaders of communes, wards and related units must do their utmost to benefit the people and develop society. The set timelines need to be determined to implement and must count each task to stick to them closely and make them effective. The construction works must be as green, clean, and beautiful as possible and not affect people's lives," Hanoi Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc directed.
