On September 21, Dong Hoa Ward Police (Dak Lak province) informed that the unit had quickly verified and helped people get back their motorbikes that were mistakenly taken.
Previously, Ms. N.T. L (resident of Dong Hoa ward) went to Hoa Xuan Tay market to buy food. When returning to the parking area, Ms. L discovered that her family's vehicle was no longer in its original position, so she went to the Ward Police to report.
Immediately after receiving the report, functional forces worked to verify.
By professional measures, Dong Hoa Ward Police determined that Ms. Luan's family's car had been mistakenly taken by Ms. N.T. N (resident of Hoa Xuan commune).
According to verification, the cause stemmed from the fact that the two vehicles had some relatively similar external features. Notably, Ms. L's car lock was worn, so Ms. N's car key could be opened. Therefore, Ms. N mistakenly thought Ms. L's car was her vehicle and drove away from the market.
After clarifying the incident, Dong Hoa Ward Police guided both families to carry out the necessary procedures to return the vehicle to the correct owner.
