Early in the morning of the same day, a boat carrying 6 crew members was on its way to bring fishing seafood from Nha Trang to shore when it encountered big waves and sank, leaving 2 people missing.
According to initial information, at around 6am, Mr. Huynh Van Quy (residing in Vinh Hai Ward) was driving a boat carrying 5 crew members back after a day of fishing.
When moving to the area about 700m from the mouth of Cai River, near Tran Phu Bridge, the rough sea hit the boat, causing it to sink.
