Regarding the need to arrange working headquarters, the total number of headquarters arranged: 120 headquarters (Ca Mau 73 headquarters; Bac Lieu 47 headquarters). In which, the Party agencies: 6 agencies are located at 107 Phan Ngoc Hien, Ward 5, Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province, including: Provincial Party Committee Office, Organizing Committee, Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Provincial Party Committee Internal Affairs Committee, Party Committee of Party agencies. The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee will continue to work at the headquarters at 02 Tran Hung Dao, Ward 5, Ca Mau City from July 1, 2025 until the Provincial Party Committee's headquarters is completed. In parallel with arranging accommodation and means of transportation, the Department of Finance has coordinated with the Department of Construction and relevant departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the People's Council to issue a Resolution regulating housing support policies and travel costs for cadres in Bac Lieu province who are mobilized and assigned to work at agencies and units in Ca Mau province due to the rearrangement of provincial-level administrative units.
Total number of people supported: 1,514 people; total 3 support items (rental costs, travel costs, living expenses): VND 2,220,000/person/month, support period of 2 years from the date of the decision to merge administrative boundaries.
Ensuring adequate facilities for the operation of the two-level government
Ca Mau province must carefully prepare and prepare conditions for facilities and equipment to ensure the stable operation of the government apparatus from July 1, 2025. The two provinces of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu have coordinated and carefully prepared the necessary conditions so that the new commune and ward governments can operate synchronously and effectively.
Regarding the organization, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province Lam Van Bi noted: It is necessary to urgently complete the dossier on workplacement arrangement, assigning staff to each specific position. For public vehicles, the Department of Finance is assigned to urgently submit a plan to arrange public vehicles to agencies and units. At the same time, review and propose to liquidate vehicles that are no longer qualified or newly equipped according to regulations, in order to better serve the requirements of work in the transition period and stabilize after the merger.
Director of the Department of Construction of Ca Mau province Du Minh Hung said: Up to now, the Department of Construction of Ca Mau province has received 431 cases of registration for accommodation arrangement needs. On that basis, the unit has prepared accommodation areas and is urgently implementing construction, expected to complete some points by June 30 to be ready for service.
