On February 5, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, worked with agencies, units and localities on the progress of site clearance for the Nam Son - Hap Linh industrial park.
At the meeting, Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (infrastructure investor) and agencies, units and localities reported on the progress of implementing site clearance (GPMB) for Nam Son - Hap Linh Industrial Park.
Up to now, the project has compensated for land acquisition for 42/118 households with an area of 8.5 ha/21.3 ha (reaching 40%). The area currently being paid for compensation for land acquisition is 12.8 ha (payment will continue from February 7); the area for which the compensation plan has not been approved is 4 ha because the dossier for adjusting the Decision of Tien Du District People's Committee on recognizing the results of land conversion is being completed.
Based on the opinions of delegates at the conference, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requested that from February 7, the investor and Tien Du district coordinate to focus on paying compensation costs for an area of 12.8 hectares, creating consensus and spreading among the people; by February 15 at the latest, the People's Committee of Tien Du district must approve the compensation plan for the remaining 4 hectares.
On the same day, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan also worked with units and localities on the progress of implementing infrastructure projects of Que Vo II Industrial Park - Phase 2 and Que Vo III Industrial Park - Sub-area 2.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requested the Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Vo town to direct the Compensation Council for Land Acquisition and Site Clearance and related units to strive to complete the land acquisition and site clearance work by June 30 to ensure the set schedule.
Bac Ninh currently has 14 industrial parks in operation. Industrial parks in Bac Ninh currently have nearly 1,300 operating projects, generating more than 80% of the province's industrial production value.
In 2024, FDI attraction of Bac Ninh province will reach 5.04 billion USD, the highest in the country.
This locality aims to become a class I urban area by the end of 2025 and a centrally-run city by the end of 2026.
