After listening to the Hanoi City Police and Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward reports on the fire, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh requested relevant units to focus on overcoming the consequences, urgently investigating, clarifying the cause for handling according to the provisions of law.

As previously reported by Lao Dong newspaper, the fire broke out at 6:36 a.m. on October 11, 2025, at a house in lane 180, Kim Hoa street, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward, Hanoi.

At around 6:15 a.m., the fire was basically completely extinguished. Through search, rescue, and relief, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force discovered and coordinated to hand over 5 victims (N.D.L born in 1952; H.T.H born in 1956; N.H.M born in 1982; D.T.S born in 1988; N.M.V born in 2019) who died to the authorities according to regulations.

The scene of the fire is being blocked, the cause of the fire is being investigated.
