Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council inspects projects related to thousands of households

    Quang Ngai - Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuy - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council inspects the actual compensation, site clearance, and resettlement work of the An Phu New Urban Area project.

    The actual inspection took place on August 20.

    The An Phu New Urban Area project has a total investment of more than 9,700 billion VND. The affected land area of the project in Truong Quang Trong ward is about 161ha, involving more than 1,200 households, individuals and 4 organizations; of which, the residential land area is about 22ha.

    According to the plan, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center focuses on accelerating the site clearance of about 70-80ha of agricultural land, creating a clean land fund to serve project implementation.

    Through inspection, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuy requested departments, branches, localities and related units to urgently remove difficulties, accelerate the progress of compensation, site clearance and resettlement. The implementation process must ensure the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people, in accordance with legal regulations, thereby contributing to accelerating the project progress.
