On March 11, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut chaired a dialogue with businesses operating in Can Duoc and Can Giuoc districts (Long An province). Also attending were leaders of relevant departments, branches and local leaders.
According to statistics, in Can Duoc district, Can Giuoc, there are currently nearly 2,600 operating enterprises with a total registered capital of over VND 89,000 billion (accounting for 22.3% of registered capital and accounting for 13% of the number of enterprises in the province).
In 2024 alone, Can Duoc district, Can Giuoc have 476 newly established enterprises but there are 181 dissolved enterprises and 59 enterprises temporarily suspended business; this shows that there are still many difficulties and challenges that need to be resolved.
Therefore, the Dialogue Conference is an opportunity for provincial leaders to continue to listen and find solutions to promptly remove obstacles and clear up bottlenecks that businesses are facing in the process of production and business activities, creating conditions for businesses to quickly overcome immediate difficulties, towards the goal of long-term, sustainable development.

At the Conference, businesses gave opinions and recommendations on a number of contents related to determining financial obligations when adjusting detailed planning. The enterprises also recommended that the province consider specific solutions, pay attention to the land price list as a basis for compensation and determination of financial obligations; propose synchronous measures and solutions to support enterprises to speed up site clearance progress. The enterprise also recommended that the province pay attention to ensuring clean water for enterprises to stabilize production activities...

Speaking at the dialogue, Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - affirmed that Long An always accompanies and develops with businesses. Mr. Ut requested departments, branches and localities to record and fully absorb opinions and recommendations to promptly handle and resolve them for businesses. With the recommendations not yet resolved, the Chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to continue reviewing and closely coordinating with businesses to find the optimal handling direction, clearly assigning responsibility to people and work, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Regarding the issue of clean water, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Long An province directed to have urgent and drastic solutions, mobilizing many resources to quickly overcome the problem, ensuring the essential needs of businesses and people.
Mr. Ut also hopes that businesses will continue to make efforts, strive to overcome difficulties, and accompany the province on the path of sustainable development.
