At the Conference on evaluating the results of the implementation of Hai Duong and Hai Phong Consolidation Scheme on May 30, the Standing Committee of the two local Party Committees has completed a summary report on the drafting of political reports (1st) submitted to the Hai Phong City Party Committee Congress for the term 2025-2030 after the consolidation of the proposed progress at the request of the Central Government and the Standing Committee of the two local Party Committee.
Regarding the development of a project to reorganize the apparatus, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of agencies and units, the two localities have completed the overall review of cadres, civil servants, and public employees at district and commune levels; advised on the implementation of personnel review and appraisal to serve the requirements of cadre work when merging and merging newly established provincial and commune levels.
Speaking at the conference, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang highly appreciated the coordination of the two localities in implementing the project to merge Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city, which has achieved important results, ensuring the quality and progress set out.
Hai Duong has basically completed the tasks of arranging and organizing the apparatus, and continues to promote socio -economic development, ensuring the completion of the set targets, including the goal of growth of 10.2% of the Government assigned and disbursed public investment capital to 100%.
Hai Phong City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau proposed leaders of two localities to focus on leading and directing the contents that have been agreed by the Standing Committee of the two localities, in particular paying attention to the progress and content of work quality, especially the new instructions of the Central Government.
Continue to strengthen information and propaganda work to create consensus among cadres, party members and people of the two localities when implementing the merger of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.
Mr. Le Tien Chau suggested that the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee preside over and coordinate with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee to review and complete the project on building a model of socialism associated with socialist people in Hai Phong City after the merger.
The Party Committee of Hai Phong City People's Committee coordinated with the Party Committee of Hai Duong People's Committee to study and calculate additional resources to implement in Hai Duong province. The Party Committee of Hai Phong City People's Committee in collaboration with the Party Committee of Hai Duong People's Committee completed the development of a plan to support travel with cadres, civil servants and employees in Hai Duong to Hai Phong City.
Continue to work with investors in social housing and commercial housing projects to commit to giving priority to officials working in Hai Phong. At the same time, speed up investment progress, upgrade and renovate existing traffic routes connecting Hai Duong - Hai Phong to facilitate people's travel and open up new development space for Hai Phong City.
