On June 3, Phu Thuy Ward Police (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had just supported a resident in the area to receive back 415 million VND due to a mistaken bank account transfer.
Previously, Mr. N.T. K (born 1972, residing in Phu Thuy ward) came to Phu Thuy Ward Police to report the mistaken transfer of 415 million VND and requested support to resolve it.
According to the presentation, in the process of paying money to serve business operations, Mr. K carelessly entered the wrong recipient's account number, so he transferred the above amount to a bank account named T.T. T.

After receiving information, Phu Thuy Ward Police assigned officers to verify and coordinate with the bank to clarify the case. Through verification, the account holder who mistakenly received the money transfer is Ms. T, currently residing in An Khanh commune, Hanoi city.
Based on the verification results, Phu Thuy Ward Police coordinated with An Khanh Commune Police to work with Ms. T, and at the same time propagate and mobilize this person to return the received money in accordance with the law.
After the coordination process between the units, Ms. T returned all 415 million VND to Mr. K. Thanks to that, people quickly received back the mistakenly transferred money.
According to Phu Thuy Ward Police, timely resolution of the case not only ensures the legitimate rights of the people but also contributes to improving the effectiveness of serving the people and strengthening trust in the grassroots police force.
