In addition, coordinate with the Department of Transport to receive back facilities, equipment and machinery to serve the people and prevent interruptions.
From March 1, 2025, we have begun to carry out the task of receiving documents directly at the Provincial Public Administration Center and via the VNeID application. Up to now, after 20 days of implementation, the unit has directly received 1,077 applications for issuance and exchange and 79 applications for receipt via the VNeID application" - Lieutenant Colonel Hien said.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Hien, in the coming time, the unit will deploy 9 more issuance and renewal points at the commune and regional levels to facilitate the work of collecting documents and create favorable conditions for people to travel during the process of issuing and renewing driving licenses.
"Because Thanh Hoa is large and densely populated, when developing the implementation plan, we calculated, based on the area, population, road routes, and regional customs to arrange locations suitable for the people" - Lieutenant Colonel Hien informed.
Overtime to perform tasks
Major Le Tran Kien - Captain of the Road Mechanical Driving License Examination Team, Traffic Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police - said that in the process of performing the task of issuing and renewing driving licenses, the unit's forces also encountered many difficulties, because this is a new task, requiring getting acquainted with new facilities and equipment, so it needs to be studied and studied. However, with the efforts, the officers and soldiers quickly approached and caught up with the work.

During the process of transferring and receiving tasks from the Department of Transport, the number of people participating in granting and exchanging driving licenses was very large, there were days of high intensity, each day handling 200-300 cases in public administrative areas. To avoid interruption, officers and soldiers try to work overtime, through noon, outside of office hours and even on Saturdays to serve the needs of the people" - Major Le Tran Kien said.
According to Major Kien, regarding the difficulties in the initial stage of receiving the task, the leaders of the Department and the Team also advised the Provincial Police Department to increase the payroll for the Audit Team in the coming time, open more points to receive documents in the province, in order to reduce the current burden on the public administrative sector, help people travel conveniently, and quickly complete the procedures for issuing and renewing.
"On average, the Testing Team receives hundreds of cases per day at the VNeID Public Administration and Service Center. While the Investigation Team has 12 commanders and officers, the unit has also proposed to increase the number of positions to meet the assigned work" - Major Le Tran Kien informed.
