On May 1, a video appeared on social media about mobile police chasing a young man wearing white clothes along the road.
Some witnesses said that the reason was that the young man showed signs of drinking and driving a car, and when he encountered the authorities, he abandoned the car to run around.

A representative of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 - Traffic Police Department of Yen Bai Provincial Police confirmed that the above video was filmed in the central area of Yen Bai city, on the evening of April 30.
Accordingly, at around 11pm, during a patrol and control in the Nguyen Tat Thanh Street area, the working group discovered a car with license plate 21A-108.XX when it approached the alcohol stop switch on the sidewalk.
After that, a young man wearing a white shirt got out of the car and ran through the patrol point of the traffic force from Nguyen Tat Thanh intersection to Nguyen Van Cu street. At that time, officers and soldiers of the patrol team ran out to grasp the situation.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ha Van Tung - Captain of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, car 21A-108.XX parked on the sidewalk before being ordered to stop for inspection.
Lieutenant Colonel Tung said - for this incident, the Team did not have enough basis to handle the young man who left his motorbike to run around the checkpoint. The reason was that the patrol team's checkpoint area had no cameras. It is not known whether this person was the driver or not.
Regarding the above incident, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Tien T (in Group 8, Minh Tan Ward, Yen Bai City) confirmed that he was the young man in the video posted on social media. "I myself was extremely surprised because I didn't think the incident posted on social media would be so misunderstanding."
According to Mr. T, on the evening of April 30, he and his wife traveled from Nguyen Tat Thanh Street to their private house on Dien Bien Street. When approaching the Nguyen Tat Thanh intersection assigned to Nguyen Van Cu, the family car driven by his wife was suddenly hit by two young men riding an electric bicycle when they encountered a patrol team.
"At that time, I told my wife to stop the car on the sidewalk. After that, he got in the car to chase the electric bicycle, the mobile police officer thought he had abandoned the motorbike to check in, so he chased after him," said Mr. T.
