On August 22, according to information from Cao Bang Provincial Police, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH) held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on perfecting the organization and personnel work.
According to the decision, in addition to the 4 existing working teams, the Provincial Police established 2 more Fire Fighting and Rescue Teams in the area, bringing the total number of units under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to 6 teams.
The new apparatus will include: Staff Team; Fire Prevention Team; Fire Fighting and Rescue Team; Logistics Team - Vehicle Management; Area I Team and Area II Team.
Area I team is headquartered in Hoa An commune, in charge of 9 communes: Hoa An, Nam Tuan, Ha Quang, Truong Ha, Lung Nam, Tong Cont, Thong Nong, Thanh Long, Can Yen.
Area II team is located in Quang Uyen commune, in charge of 16 communes: Quang Han, Tra Linh, Quang Trung, Doan Duong, Trung Khanh, Dam Thuy, Dinh Phong, Phuc Hoa, Be Van Dan, Doc Lap, Quang Uyen, Hanh Phuc, Ha Lang, Ly Quoc, Vinh Quy, Quang Long.
In addition to fire fighting and rescue tasks, the teams also undertake the task of consulting, propagating, and training; guiding the movement of the entire population to participate in fire prevention and fighting and rescue to inspect and supervise fire safety at the facility; at the same time, proposing to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
The establishment of 2 more regional teams affirms the determination of the Provincial Police in improving their on-duty capacity, promptly handling fire, explosion, incidents and accidents; increasing the presence of forces in remote areas; protecting people's lives and property and contributing to maintaining security and safety of fire prevention and fighting in the new situation.
