Police intervene to clear self-driving electric vehicles at Nguyen Trai Park, Hai Phong

Hai Phong - Ngo Quyen Ward Police have just handled the situation of electric vehicle business in Nguyen Trai Park.

Information from the Ngo Quyen Ward Electronic Information Portal, performing the task of ensuring security and order in the ward during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, on February 19, the ward received a reflection that the situation of self-driving electric vehicles reoccurring at Nguyen Trai Park.

The urban management team of the ward coordinated with the Traffic Police Team of the ward to thoroughly handle and prevent the situation of electric vehicle business, ensuring safety for people participating in spring travel and playing at the park. Up to now, electric vehicle business activities are no longer operating at Nguyen Trai Park.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper also had an article on February 20, 2025 reflecting the situation of self-driving electric vehicles in Nguyen Trai park, which poses a potential safety risk during the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025. On February 19, 2025, the local government (old Gia Vien ward) also issued a notice on strictly prohibiting all acts of occupying sidewalks as business and sales places in the Nguyen Trai flower garden park area. The ward requests all organizations, individuals, and households to stop doing business encroaching on sidewalks; voluntarily dismantle umbrellas, tents, billboards and other items placed on sidewalks and roadways in the Nguyen Trai flower garden area from 6 pm on February 19. The ward People's Committee will inspect and strictly handle cases of intentional violations.

Local authorities also requested the police force to ensure security and order, traffic safety in the above area. The Green Park Company assigned forces to coordinate with Gia Vien Ward People's Committee in the process of implementation, to have measures to ensure security and order, environmental sanitation as well as landscape in the Nguyen Trai flower garden campus.
