On July 1st, according to information from functional forces, officers and soldiers of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security participating in the International Rescue Team deployed forces on the ground in Venezuela.
The scene is a 9-story apartment building in La Guaira state, the building collapsed almost completely after the double earthquake on June 24 (local time). Information said that there are currently 15 residents still trapped in the rubble.
On the ground, the weather was hot, over 30 degrees Celsius. The entire large area was without power, and communication was extremely difficult. According to authorities, the collapsed high-rise buildings in La Guaira are at very high risk of continuing secondary collapse.
Rescue and relief forces need to carefully calculate when approaching to bring people out. In addition, the force is also lacking heavy demolition support vehicles, currently mainly relying on human power to search for and rescue victims.
