Under the witness of the Village Chief, Party Cell Secretary of Village 11 and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Ning Commune (Dak Lak), representatives of the Lao Dong Newspaper Office in the Central Highlands region presented 30 million VND to support Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - a woman living miserably in a dilapidated level 4 house located between a coffee and pepper plantation.
This amount of money was donated and supported by benefactors (Advertising Association and Associates - Ho Chi Minh City) after reading about Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong's difficult circumstances published in Lao Dong Newspaper.
At the donation ceremony, Mr. Chu Thanh Tan - Chairman of Ea Ning Commune People's Committee said that from the supported money, the commune has assigned the Village 11 self-management Board to buy Ms. Phuong a bed, mattress, blanket and tarpaulin to help her stay cool all night.
After that, the village will find a paint job to repair the house, renovate the kitchen and build additional toilets to ensure minimum living conditions for Ms. Phuong.
This is a particularly difficult case. When receiving the money from Lao Dong Newspaper, we requested the village to use it for the right purpose, economically and effectively to repair the house for Ms. Phuong, Mr. Tan emphasized.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong - Secretary of the Party Cell of Village 11 added that the village will mobilize workers to support the repair in the spirit of maximum savings but still ensuring practicality.
At the support ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong could not hide her emotions. She sent her thanks to Lao Dong Newspaper and the Golden Heart Social and Cultural Fund for connecting benefactors to support her in overcoming difficulties.
"Thanks to the timely help of Lao Dong Newspaper, the Golden Heart Social and Cultural Fund and benefactors, I no longer have to worry about this cold winter. I am grateful to everyone for helping me in the most difficult times. That concern gives me more confidence and determination to overcome difficulties" - Ms. Phuong shared.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article: "It's a pity to be away from the scene of a 71-year-old woman in Dak Lak living alone in a dilapidated house".
The content of the article reflects: At the age of 71, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (village 11, Ea Ning commune) lives alone in a dilapidated level 4 house, lying on the roadside next to a coffee plantation.
Her thin figure, short hair, eyesight, and distant vision made anyone who saw her feel sad. In the damp house, Ms. Phuong does not have a chair to welcome guests....
