    Quang Tri - An old woman died on the spot after colliding with a truck on National Highway 1A through Dong Trach commune on the morning of December 10.

    On December 10, the People's Committee of Dong Trach commune (Quang Tri province) said that at about 7:20 a.m., a truck with license plate 77H-101.xx driven by driver N.H.D (born in 1982, in Phu My commune, Gia Lai province) was traveling on National Highway 1A in the South - North direction.

    When reaching Km 639+734 through Dong Trach commune, the car suddenly collided with old man D.T.T (born in 1946, residing in village 6, Dong Trach commune) walking across the road.

    The strong collision caused Ms. T to die on the spot.

    After receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
