Rescue people from isolated areas due to floods

    Lam Dong - Rescue forces have made efforts to evacuate households whose houses were deeply flooded and isolated in the flood.

    On the evening of October 8, the authorities of Ninh Gia commune (Duc Trong district) and Tam Bo commune (Di Linh district) in Lam Dong province supported the evacuation of households living near Do Le stream to a safe place.

    Earlier in the afternoon of the same day, heavy rain occurred in this area, lasting for more than 2 hours. The heavy rain not only caused localized flooding on National Highway 20, but also caused many households near Do Le stream to be deeply flooded and isolated.

    Due to the rapid rise and strong currents of the water, more than 10 people from the four households were isolated. Upon receiving the news, the authorities of Ninh Gia and Tam Bo communes mobilized police, militia, youth unions, etc. to quickly arrive and deploy rescue measures.
