On March 16, information from Da Nang City People's Committee said that it had issued Decision No. 911/QD-UBND announcing an emergency situation of natural disaster for subsidence and risk of landslides in residential areas of villages: Arooi, Ating, Da'ding and Put, Hung Son commune.

According to the current situation, from September to November 2025, natural disasters occurred continuously in Hung Son commune, causing landslides in residential areas, roads and many infrastructures, seriously affecting people's lives and safety.
In Arooi village (36 households/129 people), a column with a crack more than 100m long appeared on the positive slope, the soil foundation has subsided deeply and landslides at some points, posing a risk of full-scale landslides, which could engulf residential areas. Similarly, in Ating village (105 households/355 people) and Da'ding village (30 households/107 people), the hills on the positive slope have cracks about 95-97m long, which have subsided deeply, localized landslides and have a high risk of landslides.
For DH4 road (the traffic route connecting the center of Hung Son commune with the villages of Gari and Ch'om communes before), a large landslide occurred, posing a potential risk of further landslides, breaking the road surface, affecting people's travel and safety, especially the Pứt village area.
In addition, serious landslides in Put village have damaged the entire dam and domestic water pipeline system of Put and Da'ding villages. Currently, the locality has to temporarily pull water pipes to serve people, but water sources are limited and there is a risk of shortage in the summer.
Faced with the above situation, the City People's Committee assigned the Chairman of Hung Son Commune People's Committee to continue to closely monitor the diễn biến of landslides and the natural disaster situation; proactively mobilize forces, vehicles and resources to promptly evacuate and relocate people out of dangerous areas when necessary, and at the same time ensure logistics at the evacuation site.
The locality strengthens the installation of warning signs, zoning dangerous areas, organizing guard forces and promoting information and propaganda to help people proactively prevent and avoid.
The City Military Command and the City Police coordinate to support localities in evacuating and relocating people and property when situations occur, and at the same time participate in deploying temporary remedial plans for subsidence and landslide points.
