On October 21, at Tam Thanh sea, Quang Phu ward, Da Nang, large waves 2-4m high continuously hit the shore. Mr. Tran Van Trung (a local) had just put down a piece of corrugated iron on the porch roof and said hastily: " Waves hit the edge of the embankment, the wind hit in a single beat. We tied the door, moved the electrical appliances up high, and moved the car into a closed place. Thanks to the support of the border guards and militia, the boats of the people have been towed to the anchorage area.

In Son Tra ward, border guards and militia coordinated to call on ships to enter Tho Quang Shipyard for shelter. Mr. Ngo Minh Quoc, owner of a 300CV fishing boat, said: "Hearing the news of the storm changing direction, the whole group ran to shore that night. As soon as the anchor is completed, check the buoys and ropes, and remove the net to reduce the weight. I just hope to keep the boat. Residential groups along the sea also issued warning people not to swim in the sea, limiting going to the embankment area when there are strong winds and big waves.
Hearing the warning of continuous storms from mobile vehicles, many traders at Tam Ky market have also proactively reinforced stalls, tied tarpaulins, and moved dry goods to higher ground. "It was raining heavily, the wind was strong; we took the opportunity to tie up our clothes and then moved to a few houses next door," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong.

In village 2 ( high ground Kon Pin) - Tra Linh commune, prolonged heavy rain created a cracked landslide about 50m long, 50cm wide on the mountainside, directly threatening dozens of households. The steep terrain, weak soil, and water soak for many days have caused the hillside to slide deep into residential areas.

Under the sparkling flashlights of the rain on the night of October 20, the police, militia, military forces of the commune and village officers knocked on every door, supporting the urgent evacuation of people and property. Mr. A Nghiem, a resident of Kon Pin, said: "The land started to crack, everyone was afraid of the sound of rolling rocks. Fortunately, the staff arrived early, helped with the goods, and took the children first. Entering the cultural house with lights, hot rice, is much more secure".
By 10pm, all 29 households with about 130 people had been moved to safety; 8 households close to the cracks were supported to move their assets that night. The cracks area has been issued warning ropes and sent forces on duty 24/7 to monitor secondary landslides.
