On March 12, information from the office of Da Nang City People's Committee, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Quang Buu signed and issued a decision approving the list of information technology projects and Project 06 phase 1 in 2026.
One of the key contents of this phase is the city's decision to invest 3 billion VND to build a "Software to evaluate work results according to the KPI model", assigning the Department of Home Affairs as the investor.
This project aims to eliminate qualitative and subjective assessment methods by building a specific work performance measurement index system for all administrative officials and civil servants in the area.
The software will manage the standard workload, helping leaders closely monitor the progress and quality of each individual's task performance. The entire process from setting targets to scoring and reporting is carried out in a digital environment, ensuring absolute objectivity and transparency.
A notable point of this KPI scoring system is the ability to directly connect and exploit data from the city's shared platforms such as the Administrative Document Management system and the Electronic One-Stop Shop (iGate).
The integration of actual data helps the system automate part of the evaluation process based on the number of processed dossiers and the quality of work resolution. This is an important tool for the city to review, arrange and use personnel more effectively, especially after implementing the merger of administrative units.
On this occasion, Da Nang also allocated a large budget for many other digital transformation sectors with a total budget of more than 113 billion VND.
Key tasks include building a centralized social security management system to support people more accurately, digitizing data on Hoang Sa to preserve sovereignty documents, and upgrading e-commerce platforms.
The city is also promoting the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in office work and public services to reduce administrative burdens for people and businesses.
To ensure that projects are implemented substantively, Da Nang City People's Committee requests the Department of Home Affairs and investors to complete all design documents and professional appraisal before April 30.
City leaders emphasized the responsibility of heads of agencies in the implementation process, requiring software to strictly comply with the Digital Architecture Framework and ensure smooth data interconnection through the LGSP platform.
This is to avoid the situation of spreading investment, ensuring that every budget spent brings clear management efficiency.
