The Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches has officially announced the resumption of sightseeing activities in Son Tra Peninsula, meeting the expectations of many people and tourists.
Specifically, from 7:30 a.m. on November 27, the sightseeing routes on Son Tra peninsula will operate normally again. The routes allowed to circulate include: Yet Kieu - Dinh Ban Co - Bai Bac route and Bai Bac - Cay Da heritage intersection. These are familiar routes, bringing visitors to famous landmarks such as Ban Co Peak and the Thousand-Age Tree.
However, the Management Board emphasized that the connecting route from Tien Sa - Suoi Om - Dinh Ban Co will continue to be temporarily suspended for sightseeing. This area was heavily affected by the recent storm, and the work to repair, clean up and reinforce areas at risk of landslides is still being urgently carried out. The temporary closure of this route is to give top priority to the safety of people and tourists, avoiding possible unfortunate risks.
Data from the Da Nang Tourism Industry shows that in October, the city welcomed more than 1.3 million overnight guests, an increase of over 25% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors reached about 614,000, an increase of more than 28% over the same period.
Especially during the low tourist season, Da Nang has organized a series of stimulus programs to attract tourists at the end of the year. In particular, the Da Nang Year-end Promotion Season 2025 program (Mega Sale Year End - Da Nang 2025) was launched from December 1 to January 18, 2026 in response to the "National Concentrated Promotion Program 2025 - Vietnam Grand Sale 2025" organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Mega Sale Holiday Da Nang Brand Promotion Day 2025 will be held from December 11-14. The festival is expected to have about 100 - 140 booths of fashion, cosmetics, perfume, sports, accessories, consumer goods with good brands and quality, with promotional programs and incentives for customers.
Da Nang City also organizes activities on trade promotion and shopping stimulation at the end of 2025 such as the Rural Industrial Fair towards green transformation and sustainable development in 2025 taking place from December 4 to 8, 2025.
