On July 24, Da Nang City Police coordinated with Da Nang City Youth Union and MobiFone Da Nang to launch the Campaign "Digital Summer with VNeID, digital citizen guidance, accompanying people to implement Project 06".
The campaign is being implemented throughout the city until the end of August 31, 2026, focusing on supporting the elderly, students, workers and those with limited access to technology.
According to Da Nang City Police, the city currently has more than 2 million level 2 electronic identification dossiers approved, and over 1.8 million activated accounts.
The VNeID application has also integrated more than 840,000 health insurance cards, 436,000 driver's licenses, 133,000 vehicle registration certificates and 417,000 social security accounts.
However, a part of the population still faces difficulties in installing, activating accounts, using VNeID and carrying out administrative procedures in the online environment.

Launching the campaign, Colonel Nguyen Van Tang - Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police - requested units to deploy practical activities, taking people as the center of service and effectively using digital utilities as a measure of results.
Each union member and youth is identified as a digital propagandist, directly guiding people not only to know how to use but also to exploit VNeID in daily life.
At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee launched 5 volunteer youth teams, including a digital citizen guidance team; supporting the activation and use of VNeID; supporting the issuance of ID cards and electronic identification for students; propagating online public services and surveying people's problems.
Teams will go to residential areas, guide the installation and use of applications, support ID procedures, electronic identification, and summarize arising difficulties to transfer to functional agencies for handling.
MobiFone Da Nang also awarded sim cards and free internet access packages to representatives of the volunteer team, serving activities to support people to connect and access digital platforms.
