On July 9, the Steering Committee for the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science - technology development, innovation and national digital transformation (Steering Committee 57 of Da Nang City) held a meeting to assess the implementation of the Resolution in the first 6 months of 2025, orienting a number of key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025.
The conference was held online to the connecting points of communes and wards in the city.
At the conference, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated the initial results of localities and units in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science - technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
Da Nang City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quang also praised the wards and communes for meeting 100% of the Central Steering Committee's 16 criteria; noted that localities that have not met the requirements need to review and soon complete the remaining criteria.
The Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee suggested that the People's Council and People's Committee of the city soon equip communes and wards with facilities and information technology equipment.
Secretaries and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards need to proactively review facilities, machinery and equipment systems to meet the needs of people and businesses.
In addition, departments, branches and localities need to increase the implementation of training courses on AI application, improve information technology capacity for cadres, businesses and people.
Also at the conference, Chief of Office of the Da Nang City Party Committee Tran Thang Loi said that in the last 6 months of 2025, the city will urgently complete the approval of the investment policy for the Artificial Intelligence Lab Project, the Equipment and facilities Investment Project for the Biotechnology Center.
Speed up the progress of key infrastructure projects such as the Da Nang Innovation Space Project, the Laborator Project combined with small-scale production of advanced packaging technology for Lab-Fab semiconductor microchips...
Put into operation and exploitation the Smart Traffic Control Monitoring System Project, the Project to modernize the Security and Order Command Center before December 2025; connect and share data about the city's IOC Center.
Regarding human resources, Da Nang will add a team of full-time cadres with university degrees to the Party agency offices at all levels to advise on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, including the implementation of the Architecture and Project for digital transformation in Party agencies from the Central to wards and communes.
Supplement the Digital Transformation - Basic Department of the City Party Committee Office to have 8-12 digital technology staff; supplement each ward and commune to have 1 digital technology staff.
