Da Nang City Department of Home Affairs has just publicly announced the list of mass organizations subject to dissolution consideration, due to not recording long-term activities.
This disclosure is based on Decree 126/2024/ND-CP of the Government on the organization, operation and management of associations; and at the same time implements the direction of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on arranging mass associations, social funds, and charity funds in the area - Da Nang City Department of Home Affairs said.
The list of 7 associations subject to dissolution consideration includes: Liaison Committee of former Vietnamese-Lao volunteer soldiers of Quang Nam province; Da Nang City Midwifery Association (Department of Health); Da Nang City Mental Disorder Care Association (Department of Health); Da Nang City Surgery Association (Department of Health); Da Nang City Creative Development Association (Department of Science and Technology); Da Nang City Business Association (Department of Industry and Trade); Da Nang City Investors Association (Department of Finance).
The main reason for dissolving these associations is that they cannot be contacted by the subject or have no reporting information, no operating information.
The Department of Home Affairs clearly stated: within 30 days from the date of public disclosure, if any opinions, recommendations, complaints, disputes or related information arises, they shall be sent to the Department of Home Affairs for summarization and reporting to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for consideration. After this deadline, if no related content arises, the City People's Committee will carry out dissolution procedures according to regulations.
